Overall Content Rating: Restricted R

This is an adult-oriented crime mystery with investigators and civilians caught in murders, corruption, and personal betrayals. Expect frequent strong and mild profanity in almost every tone, from banter to threats, plus insults tied to relationships and power struggles. Violence is a major part of the story: assaults, gunfire, stabbings, and detailed aftermath at crime scenes. Sexual content stays mostly at the level of affairs, crude talk, and one described incident of unwanted touching rather than explicit on-page sex; themes include adultery, embarrassment, and adult jokes. Best suited to mature teens or adults comfortable with R-rated language and graphic violence.
